Meat's value most certainly changes as the freezer fills.
You and your needs change as the freezer fills..........not the meat. That meat is just as fresh and good as the stuff chillin' at home. Just because you won't eat it don't mean it isn't edible. Many areas accept donations of meat to feed the hungry and/or a friend or fellow hunter who maybe hasn't had the same fortune that year.
The meat is the same reguardless.
If I can't store it or eat it, its worthless to me.
Then why would you shoot it??
Shooting a dear is a personally rewardnig experience to some people.
I hope it is for ALL people.
If that deer is huge, or has some deep meaning to me, I'm going to want a keepsake from it. If I can't have pics, I want the rack.
Your memories wouldn't be enough??
