Matt, it is really interesting how different bows fit different people. I really disliked the feel of the Hoyt, but still would recommend somebody new to try them out to see if it fits them. To me though they sucked. No offense to any hoytians. I have yet to try any bowtechs.

Could the grip be a different factor with my feelings on the hoyts? Since the grip is so much smaller, it felt better, but right at release, I felt as if the bow was going to rattle itself in half. I noticed the same thing in Oct. of 2000 when I tried a couple other hoyts. It was very obvious to me, the less handshock in the SQ2 from the cybertec.

I did shoot the hoyts with an open mind though. I don't think it was mental recoil that I felt. I can't bash hoyt to hard, heck, I have one in my bow rack! No wheels on it though.

Heck, I even test drove a freeking Volvo yesterday and was overly impressed with it! The new S-60 AWD. I never thought I would plant my rear in a volvo... and like it! That thing handled like a dream, even on slick roads, through a mountain range with blizzard conditions and pure ice on the roads. I made 300 miles in 5 hours, with a 1/2 hour pitstop to help out a rolled over pathfinder.
