A full choke is a good selection for turkeys, but you need to take it to the range first to check your patterns. Get a few turkey silhouette targets and test a few of your favorite loads at various distances out to about 50 yards. Whichever patterns the best and consistently places shot in the vital area is the one for you.
If you're not getting good enough patterns out around 40-50 yards, you might want to consider an extra-full choke. The 835 is a decent turkey gun, so with the right load you'll probably be able to use your current setup.
