For deer here in IL I use an H&R Ultra Slug Deluxe in 12 gauge. My oldest son uses H&R Ultra Slug in 20 gauge. If I'm in tighter woods or real brushy areas I will use my old JC Higgins 12 gauge pump.

For small game (like squirrel and rabbit) I use either an old New Haven .410 bolt, an old Stevens 94 single shot 12 gauge or one of my many Ruger 10/22's. My oldest boy uses an NEF .410 single shot or one of the Ruger 10/22's.

Big birds-the old Stevens 94 or a Mossberg 500 12 gauge.

Crows - sniping 'em?.......a sweet old Mossberg .22 Magnum....flyers?..........the old Stevens 94 or the Mossberg.

'Yotes? A Bushmaster AR or very occasionally my old German Mauser in .06.

Bad guys? Kimber CDP .45 or Kel-Tec P11 9mm - everyday.
