Mike, thats the only "flaw" in Hoyt right now. I'm not a speed nut, and am more of a forgiveness fan. This bow for me, exceeded the forgiving marks. Its just an awsome, stable shooting platform and I'm getting great accuracy. But yes, I would like to see more speed out of them. Especially given the fact that they are using a hybrid system and should yeild more speed.
Right or wrong that was the deciding factor. I almost had him special order me a Razortec with the Spiral cams which would have put me right at the same speed levels as the the Patriot SC, but then I would have had a custom bow. If in the event that I didn't like it, then I'd probably be stuck with it. The spiral cams are 55-65% letoff and they are draw length specific/non adjustable. If I would have gone with the Hoyt, I would have bought the Razortec. The fit & finish on the Hoyt bows can't be beat though and they are whisper quiet, even on a bare bow.

I still don't regret my decision to go with the Pat though.
