Well to tell you the truth it is pretty hard to find shed in the Catskill region when most of the bucks are killed during the season unless you have a place where the deer can hide and get out of the way of hunting. I grew up in the Catskills and only found one 4 pt side one opening day of trout season. I tripped on it and that was on DEP land where hunting at the time was not permitted.
