turkeys always want to roost higher than prolly 5 or 6 foot about 12+ feet get in there and locate em and one other thing them turkeys may be eating the insect off of the trees what kind of tree tops (pine?) i know bugs like to eat pines and stuff like that and turkeys love insects so thats prolly one reason or they could be eating berrys hope i was some help to ya
