Hello RB. Tinkering again I see. I suppose since your pro shop burned down it does cramp your ability to try some things. As far as the tritium pins I can't comment but as far as color of fiber optics green has a definite advantage for me. If the only problem with your fiber is it not staying seated in your pin a small dab of super glue or hard as nails etc. should keep it in place. If you want to try different diameter pins I ordered replacement fiber optic stock in sets of 3 colors ( green, red, yellow) I think about 8" long and just cut to length I need. They came in diameters of .019, .029 & .039. I will have to check for sure if you need to know but I think I ordered from Bullseye Sights and cost maybe $7.00 -$8.00 per set. I changed all mine out to the largest size due to my ageing eyes and trifocal glasses but now that I am playing around with the local 3D shoots I may have to go to smaller pins. Guess you haven't sent the Hornet off for a tuneup yet. Good luck and happy tinkering.
