Default RE: camo is it needed?

I agree, camo is not necessary for hunting deer. I have had many close encounters wearing blue jeans and an orange jacket without spooking game. On the other hand, I do hunt turkeys and feel camo is essential. Since I have the camo, I figure I may as well use it for hunting deer too, can't hurt. Also, I have been in the situation when deer hunting of being surrounded by turkeys. I believe had I spooked those turkeys, it would have alerted any deer in the area. Well, after the turkeys moved on, 3 deer came walking down the trail I was watching not 2 minutes later. What happened next is another story... Bottom line, camo isn't necessary, but wearing it and looking as natural as possible could make a difference in some circumstances. Besides, I can't seem to find any long sleeve Hawiaan shirts or jackets.
I agree totally. Turkeys and deer have completely different types of vision. I have been picked out by turkeys when in a deer stand when I never moved at all. Deer have acted as if they saw me, but eventually calmed down when I stayed motionless long enough.
