I've said for years, as an elk hunter that camo was way overrated, the same as scent lok clothing. I wear a leather ausie type cowboy hat wool pants and a camo long sleeve shirt. My son wears no camo at all except for his hat.
I think camo gives hunters a certain type of confidence, if that's you, then stick with it.
As far as elk goes it doesn't matter, just don't move around as he's on his way in and you'll be fine. Be more concerned with the wind than your fashion. elknut1
