BTW-If you get a NEW Kimber Series II it will come with a firing pin safety system in it.
So? Does it really make a difference? Personally, I don't mind having a firing pin block considering that this pistol is meant to be carried locked-and-cocked. I don't fancy the idea of blowing my head off should the gun, God forbid, ever fall to the ground on the hammer and shear off the hammer sear. The firing pin blocking safety virtually eliminates that concern. Besides, doesn't Kimber state that the design of their pin safety doesn't effect the feel of the trigger at all?
