Well 5-shots more of the expert on that than I am but I think he recomends at lease 55lbs of KE to use any mech head. But he will have to correct me if thats wrong. I do know that this is one of (if not the) best choice for a lower KE set up. That is if you are going to use a mech head. I have heard of people who claim to get consistent pass throughs with rigs generating only 50 lb of KE.
