I handle one, it seamed a good gun for the money but the mossberg 500 is much more of a gun for a little more money. I owned a 835 it is heavy but patterns very well. I primarly used it for turkey but shot skeet with it also. One thing to remember is if you are going to start shooting skeet or clays it is nothing to run through a 100 rounds in one night. It may pay to go with a nicer gun.
