Default RE: PSE Not mentioned?

PSE has a forum and most of the posters in that forum, shoot PSE. People who shoot particular bows, tend to congregate in the same forums. I guess misery loves company.

There is very little difference in manufacturing quality among companies. On the high end bows, most use machined aluminum risers covered with a film dip, high quality glass limbs or a glass/carbon composite. They have bearings and hardened axels. Cams have no difference in quality, just difference in design. The biggest difference seems to be in the method of connecting the limbs to the limb pockts. Once again, this is a design thing, not a quality issue and there are several good methods being used. Strings are unimportant because they don't last long and most serious shooters replace them with a custom string anyway.

One thing to keep in mind, is that they will all put an arrow where it's pointed, if you do your part. Choose according to what feels good to you, knowing that it really won't make any significant difference in how you shoot, no matter which company you go with. I always recommend people choose based on who has the best bow shop with the best service. A great shop can make a real difference in how well you shoot, if they get you the exact correct draw length and tune it properly. Most shops fall short in these areas, so choose wisely. Good luck and welcome to the fourm.
