I had a Smith and Wesson 5' 44 Mag. I forget what they called that model. It was a special run and based on the 29. The Taurus Revolvers shoot very well. I have had about ten of them. All but one were great shooters. I also had a Dan Wesson Pistol Pack with 4 different lenght barrels in 44 Mag a 4 inch 6 inch eight inch and 10 inch. I had the same thing in a 41 mag kit. However at this time If I were to buy one it would be a Ruger. They are just built like a tank. A little heavy but if you will shoot it a lot then its the only way to go. If you will carry it a lot and shoot a little then the Smith or Taurus would do a good job.
