One way you can narrow down the prob is to figure what the glue is sticking to. If the glue is sticking to the shaft and not the vane, then obviously it's the vanes. If it's sticking to vane but not the shaft....

I haven't tried any recent Bohning vanes, but I always found them difficult to fletch. They seem to be real finnicky about temps, and cleanliness while fletching. The older they are too, the more difficult.
