Depends on where I am hunting, If I've got horses available I'll pack them out on a saddle panyard or a sawbuck. Many times I'll have to use the old Pack frame I've got a Kifaru that works well. In Ak I've shot Moose or Caribou a ways from camp and packed the meat on my back to a closer good spot to land and then flew over and picked it up with the airplane. It's kinda one of those do what you have to type situations. The first time you ever put an Elk or a Moose down by your self the job of retrieving it can seem astronomical just remember to go at it one step at a time. After it's quatered deboned ETC it'll seem alot more manageable.
