First, I do shoot 3-D, so that speed is 280FPS. However, for hunting I try to stay around 260-250FPS. For me that is a medium speed for my bows, they are forgiving,quiet but that is still more than enough speed for penetration and errors in yardage of my personal maximum hunting shots of 30yards.
