RE: Single shot fans?
I've always liked single shots too. Over the years i've owned quite a few includeing a Winchester low wall, numerous Ruger number 1's, and others. BUT, i've always liked combination guns even more!! And i for one think, as a combination gun "usually" has one rifle and one shotgun bbl, i kind of consider them "single shots" too!
I have combination guns or combination bbl sets at this time in, 22 rimfire, 22win mag., .222 rem, .223, 5.6x52R, .243, 7x65R, 30-06, 8x57jrs, 9.3x74R, 9.3x74R imp., .338RDS, 375 H&H mag, .408x74R, .444 marlin, 45/70 gov., and several others, includeing single shot bolt action rifles and single shot shotguns.
Some are "wildcat rounds", while others are factory rounds, but at one time or another i've hunted with them all, and enjoyed every minute of it!!!
