Thanks for all the responses............. I should have mentioned the 4.5x14 was a long range unit with parallax adjustment and a 30 mm tube. Really don't know if it would make a difference optically, but this was the model I was leaning towards.

What I'm worried about is the 3.5x10 is really a 3.3x9.7, not much difference from a 3x9? The 4.5x14 is really a 4.9x14.3, almost a 5x15. Nice numbers? you'd think Leupold would have corrected this with the new versions!

But they are still Leupold, great reputation, warranty and the best eye relief.
