Default RE: ANYBODY FROM WASHINGTON STILL AROUND???

Can I share a shameless plug? The Lake Washington Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is hosting its 4th Annual Banquet and Auction at the Embassy Suites, 3225 158th Avenue SE, Bellevue, Washington. This event will take place on Sunday, March 7, 2003 and doors open at 3 pm. There will be live and silent auctions, raffles, kids games, catered dinner, and no host bar. And don't forget those ever popular Hooters girls helping us with our raffles! This is a family event. Your ticket to all this fun begins at $35 and proceeds help to finance conservation and habitat projects for wild turkeys.

Because of the money raised from these banquets, the Lake Washington Chapter was able to host our first-ever JAKES event; sharing outdoors activites with 30 kids, donate 20 frozen store-bought turkeys to the feed the hungry at the Issaquah Food Bank for Thanksgiving, and awarded a talented high school senior a $500 scholarship for the winning essay on "Why Conservation is Important." Think these banquets don't matter? Ask those 30 kids who learned how to shoot trap or archery or the 20 families who received a Thanksgiving turkey. That was just in 2003! Your dollars help!
