Another NEF/H&R fan here. I own a H&R Ultra in .308 that is used for hunting. One year afield, one shot, one deer (a nice 8-point). I will be adding new barrels in the near future. Like others here, the first will probably be a .223. Then I'll start working on building up a nice supply of barrels and complete outfits for when my sons get old enough to hunt. Of course, I'll have to shoot all of them to make sure they are good enough .
