Mike, I'm not that big of a guy. Only 19 years old about 6'1" and 180.
The headhunter looks nice. I already have a Viper climber and IMO Summits are the best stands out there. How comfortable is yours? I think it will be between that stand and a Lone wolf. I'm hoping to be able to find one cheap either on ebay or archerytalk's classified ads. When I do end up getting one of the stand I think I'm going to get the climing sticks to go with it. Not sure about either summits or lone wolfs there either.
You're just a little taller than I am so the extra 4" of seat height will be even better for you. The stand is very comfortable. The seat cushion is about 3" thick and it has a zippered pouch on the front which makes it nice for things like you hoist rope and such. I was very suprised at how stable the stand was considering that it attaches with a strap instead of a chain. You can also buy extra straps in case you move around a lot also. Once you get your steps in place it literally will take you longer to pull the stand up than it will to attach it to the tree. I don't think you'll regret buying this stand. As far as the steps are concerned, I can't comment on the Lone Wolf or the Summit steps, but I do plan on buying a set of the Summit Bucksteps very soon. I'll let you know what I think of them when I get them.
