Over the years I have had quite a mix of single shots. A Sharps 50 cal& 45-70. Ruger No l in 416 Rem Mag. A no 3 Ruger in 45-70. A Contender Carbine in 223 and 44 Mag. and Nef's in 223. 243 30-30 30-06, 44 Mag and 280 Remington. Also more single shot shotguns than I can remember in all GA's. I have used the Black Powder models for compitition. The rest I use for hunting. My favorite right now is the 26 inch barreled NEF 280. I would take that rifle with the Swift scope on it anywhere in North America for any game anytime.
