well, thats a good question. while aluminum provides penetration. carbon has its longer shot accuracy advantage due to, it recovers flex from initial shot quicker. I shot aluminum for 15yrs. and this year went to carbon. i got a little tighter paterns at longer ranges but how far does that average bow kill come at. 10-20 yrds. tops its your call!! good luck!
