My .378 weatherby is going to a new home this saturday. Every since I was a teenager I wanted one. Reading ballistics and thinking wow this gun is the meanest thing out there. It was in the top five at the time anyway. I think if you have the money to spend in ammo its the rifle for you. I don't really like the muzzle blast of the things in a hunting situation. But with todays brakes they are easy enough to handle recoil. I did enjoy blowing up rocks with mine I got a kick out of that. But that gets alittle expensive.
