Default RE: Bennelli super black eagle

I shot a Nova for 2 years with excellent results !! I pulled it out of the box and shot doves great ......clays great......ducks great .....turkeys great !! I never had to pattern it.....or worry about what shells I was using !!

I recently sold it and upgraded to a SBE .........expecting similar results. I have not patterned it or tried any chokes other than stock ones . I really like the gun and it's the easiest gun to break down and clean.......I have ever used !

But I can't hit the broad side of a barn with it ! The overall length is the same as my Nova........the length to the trigger pull is identical......the only difference is in the pitch of the barrel (which I don't know anything about) .

I am about positive now that it's shooting high for me......the bottom of my pattern seems to be at my aiming point ! I started aiming lower and nocked down a few ducks at the end of season .

Any suggestions ? This has been a little frustrating !!
