i have quite a few permanent stands but they are on my own land so that is allowed. If i hunt on the government land i have a climber stand and 3 lock ons. I really love my wodden stands but sometimes thats not where the action is at so i have to hang a few other stands. If u get a good location a wooden stand is great but if i have to follow the deer around i have to use the others.
