Ya gotta have a little traffic cop mentality in you. What you are looking for is concealed traffic areas that deer frequent. Try scouting year round because their patterns do change throughout the year. Put the time and effort in and you will find these areas. When you scout, go very slowly, constantly looking for signs, trails, scrapes, rub lines, poop, blow downs, etc.. These critters leave their markings. You can and will find these areas with effort and practise.
