This is what I've heard. Take it as you will I haven't handled one. I have heard that they have feeding problems with the WSM family of cartridges. This was in a magazine that I read.
If you are buying the rifle because of the weight you might look at a Browning A-Bolt II composite stalker. They weigh rougly 6-1/2 lbs and are accurate rifles. I have one in 25-06 & the neighbor in 7MM WSM. The 25-06 is a 1/2" gun with Winchester 115 gr ballistic silvertips. The neighbor's will shoot slightly under an inch with the Winchester Super X 150 gr power point.
