I've owned 2 Conquests and one Q2XL.

For a 3D shooter I belive I would go w/ the Conquest. It's faster, and a bit more stable evn though it's brace height is a tad less.

However, If you have a longer draw length, say 30-31" then the Q2XL would probably provide all the speed you need, and the cam is easier and smoother to draw.

YOu really cannot go wrong w/ either choice.
