First, Is there a difference between Winter and Annual Rye?
Yes winter rye is drank out of a shot glass and annual rye is drank on the rocks.
lastly, can/should rye be used as a cover crop for clover?
If you have enough empty bottles they should be able to cover any crop, although this is littering.
