Weatherby460..."The Weatherby outperforms the Ultra Mag". Are you making this statement from experience shooting both guns? The Weatherby ballistics are actually a tad off from the RUM. With the same 200 grain bullet from Remington, the Weatherby shoots 2900fps w/ 3800 ft/lbs energy. The RUM shoots 3025fps with 4063 ft/lbs energy.

I realize they're close, but at 500 yards the RUM is 9" closer to zero than the Weatherby.
