Default Fletching contact?

Have a question for the masses. Everyone seems to worry about a little fletching contact. Fall away rests and straight fletching. I recently saw a trick shooter shooting a long bow. Hard helical with feathers. Shot off the shelf. Lots of fletching contact there. Guy can hit an asprin thrown into the air, shoot a balloon at 150 yards and other amazing shots.

He's also shot a compound with a fixed arrow rest, hard helical fletch with feathers. This guy was amazing. States the helical fletching straightens out the deflection quickly and doesn't understand all this concern about fletching contact. What's your thoughts?
