There is decent whitetail hunting in MA. but it's a good 2-21/2 hrs west of Beantown, in the Berkshire Mountains. Take the little Lassie to a nice Bed & Breakfast. Tell her you'll provide the dinner after she has her breakfast solo, while you are out in the mountains.
