No it won't hurt, you will find shooting that six yards you will be very steady and accurate. You will also find that you can use your 35 yard pin or there abouts for that distance. It seems the pin motion doesn't show up for some reason..
What to watch out for: have a backstop behind that target because at that short range it won't take long for the arrow to be sticking out the back of the target right into to the wall.. been there done that

work on form and release and aiming...
