My best advice is to never go to the woods, because after that first gobble your gonna be hooked for life. You may think I am kidding but just wait, you'll be spending countless hours in the woods and dollars in the stores like the rest of us. I am just kidding of course because you just picked the greastest sport in the world to start. If at all possible, find someone who could and is willing to go with you and maybe call some so you can hear him. I hunted 4 years without much help before I called in my first bird. But once you learn how and when to call it's not that hard. I called in 2 more that week of my first one for friends. You'll learn but it always helps to find a sort of mentor.
