I am looking at getting a new bow and I am stongly considering a Hoyt Razortec. The bow I currently have is a PSE Viking....roughly shooting around 285 fps. It's a short axle to axle bow(not sure what the size is, but it's got to be around 31, 32 or so) and I'd want to stick with a shorter axle to axle bow for my next purchase. What I'm ultimately shooting for here is #1 being quiet....#2 being smooth....#3 being fast(around 290-300 or better fps). But speed isn't my #1 consideration. On this bow, I'm planning on putting on a Muzzy Zero Effect(pretty sure that's what you call it) or a Trophy Ridge Drop away rest and a Cobra sight. I'm currently shooting Beman ICS 400's with Rocket Sidewinder 100 grain broadheads. I'd like to use my current arrows with my new setup. I have around 30 arrows and would hate to have to switch to something else with the $$ I have invested. Maybe I gave some info that doesn't really need to be taken into account when purchasing a new bow, but heck...now you know more about what I shoot.
Sorry for being long winded, but here's the question.....What do you all think about the Razortec? Are there other bows you would suggest that fit into my top 3 requirements?
Thanks in advance.
