Default this make sense ?

We talk a lot about shooting doe on this site. I wanted to mention two studies that show why we want to shoot doe if you want quality bucks.
The first was done Pennsylvania Game Commision. Their studies showed that doe in over-populated under-nourished areas doe gave birth to more female fawn then buck fawn while well-nourished doe gave birth to more buck fawn than doe fawn. In other words, you will get more bucks in the future with a healthy doe heard.

I apploligize for not giving credit to the people who did the next study. It was one I read a while back and can not find it now. Basicaly what it showed was if a mature doe (with fawns) was shot the fawn had more of a tendancy to stay in that same home range, and had a better survival rate. But if a fawn became mature without loosing the mother doe the offspring would be forced into new territory and had a smaller chance at survival. So, by shooting mature doe you would actually have thier offspring around to replace them and if one of the offspring was a buck, you would have a better chance of that buck making that ground his home turf.

Just two more reasons to shoot mature doe that I don't think had been mentioned for a while if at all

i did not write this but wanted to share it[8D]
