don't like to buy used bows. I don't trust that the previous owner took as good care of it as I would have. Too easy to mess up a bow if you're not careful. Sure you can shoot it before you buy it, but problems may surface after purchase. Lots of folks buy used, just not for me.
I understand your concern, but I've probably bought 10 used bows over the last several years, and I have never had any problem with a single one of them. I try to buy bows that are only 1 year old, and usually b/c they have such a high price tag when new, the previous owner took good care of it.
