He weighed 200 pounds gross.....
My buddy killed him in a small rye grass food plot about 20 minutes before dark. He said he was playing with his scope trying to train himself to use both eyes when this buck walked into the scope.....Wouldn't ya know, that would never happen to me.
300 magnum, dropped him dead in his tracks at about 90 yards. He was stitting on the ground. The buck had no fat on him at all. He must have been running his butt off as our rutt has just ended. He was hungry, and so was the shooter.....
