I wouldn't shoot him!!! Every skunk I've ever shot has sprayed. I've shot them in the head, body, just about everywhere. It seems that they lose control of their muscles and they just start pouring that stink out. I've caught them in traps and just shot 'em. Just get ready for some serious stink for awhile!
