I too am in agreement with James and doubleA.

A 140 grain bullet at 3000fps out of a .280 is pretty dang flat shooting and will take any deer that walks this earth.

The 7mm STW and 7mm ultra mag are simply not needed unless you are regularly shooting at elk and moose at distances over 400 yards. Save the money, powder and your shoulder.
