First of all buy what feels right to you. Pleasing yourself is the number one concern forget others opinions, cuz all are solid choices. While one may say ruger are the best, the next may say rem, wins, tikka, savage and so on.

Personally I like detachable mags, so I look for the manufacturers who have this feature. I do own ones with hinge in winchester, ruger as well. I personally have not had a problem with a single remington I have owned and would say they are an excellent choice.
