your setup will work fine for the buff!!!!
sounds a lot like what i used to get mine. after the arrow took both longs, she (big cow, also a cull hunt) was on her feet just a few seconds, but get ready to see a lot of blood
the three blade will work well, i use a thunderhead, and the only thing that stopped a pass through was the other shoulder bone
also, the meat is excellent.....
