I don't believe you will find chukar in the woods, they are a bird of arid hilly to mountainous open terrain. Bobs like brush and weed patches with some food in or near the cover. Pheasants also like somewhat open country with weed patches and lots of thick cover. When you find all three of these birds in the same habitat you are on a shooting clubs ground and they turn them out just so some sport can blast them without too much effort.
