Call around the butcher shops on the Eastern Shore of MD and talk to them about buckshot. i learned my lesson. I shot a sika deer with buckshot and it barely got thru the flesh at 40 yards Never mind a good pass thru.. Fortunately, I used a slug first shot to get it down. I just couldn't believe penetration was so poor.
