Default RE: explodeing bullets

Don't know about various conspiracy theories, and don't care much at this point. The question was, ARE/WERE THERE SUCH A THING AS EXPLODING BULLETS? I said yes, others said no. Your own cut and paste makes reference to the Devastator ammunition loaded with exploding bullets. It was marketed by Bingham USA, and import company that imported a line of Philipino made firearms.
The only first hand experience I had with Devastators was reading the adds in various shooting publications, including Shotgun News. I never tested them, but I did see some refernces to testing them in firearms publications at the time. If I remember correctly, every test showed that they worked (actually exploded) about 20% of the time.
Remember folks, an explosion doesn't mean devestation spread over a city block! The explosive mix was probably less than the explosive mix in a standard small rifle or pistol primer.
I've had enough of this BS. Let's all go drink a beer or six, and talk about hunting whitetails!
