Im currently in my JR year at Capital High School, its a pretty good sized school, but im just about the only archer and hunter there, besides a couple of rifle hunters...but theres on thing i cant stand, when in class the teachers ask what we did over the weekend, and i say for example last years season, "i shot my first spike elk with my compound" and the other kids in class (i live in idaho by the way) say "ooooh, thats so sad, the poor little animal, YOU SHOT A BAMBI!" (thanks to Walt Disneys
Bambi, Probably the biggest movie that mocks and stereotypes hunters) It just upsets me when they suck down double quarter pounders from mcdonalds, and complain about hunters, when were the ones out in the woods walking for miles up and down mountains, bustin our a$$ for a bowkill and the rewarding feelings you experience while being outdoors, everything from the terrain, mountains, streams, tall trees, and watching and hunting the most amazing animals, ELK. When the burger they are sucking down came from a cow who was herded through a gate, shot in the head with a .22, cut up and shipped out...Whats so wrong about a man working hard to fill his freezer?
