2.5" vanes seem pretty short if this is a hunting setup. I shoot 4" vanes for both hunting and league and find them to give me a much more stable arrow flight. And also with the muzzy zero effect drop away rest I get no fletching contact whatsoever.
If you are getting alot of fletching contact I would eliminate this first before paper tuning. What I usually do is start from scratch. After changing everything on the bow so much to try and fix the issue sometimes it's alot easier to remove the rest completely and reinstall it allowing you to recenter your nock point. I would also recomend a drop away. I have tried every tm hunter on the market and have had a heck of a time with all of them. All those problems disapeared as soon as I got a drop away.
